Maldives Body Boarding Association signed an MoU to endorse Allied Insurance as the Insurance Partner of “ASC Maldives Open 2014”

On 31^st August 2014, at a special ceremony held at Allied Insurance Corporate Office, Allied Insurance Company and Maldives Body Boarding Association (MBBA) signed an MOU to endorse Allied Insurance as the Insurance Partner of “ASC Maldives Open 2014. Under this agreement, Allied Insurance agrees to provide a Public Liability Insurance Policy with a cover of USD 1,000,000.00 (One Million United States Dollars) for the “ASC Maldives Open 2014”.  A grand opening ceremony will be held at Adaaran Select Hudhuranfushi on the 3^rd of September, where the event will continue for another 2 days.  The competition will take place at Lohis Point (Surf Point).

On behalf of Allied Insurance, the agreement was signed by the company’s Marketing Manager, Mr.Mohamed Shirneel. Speaking at the Ceremony, Mr.Shirneel acknowledged the president of MBBA, Mr.Mohamed Areef for giving this opportunity where the company can contribute and support in initiating its contribution in encouraging the youthful enthusiasm and development in the Country.

Mr.Mohamed Areef also acknowledged Allied Insurance for its contribution.  In addition, he also said that the successful execution of this event will open up more opportunities for better advancements in the Surfing industry of the Maldives.
