Group Personal Accident Insurance provides employees with
comprehensive personal accident insurance coverage against
accidental death or injury during the cause of employment.
Who can be insured?
Accidental Death
Permanent Total Disablement
The loss of a function of the body whereby total restoration is
not possible. Example; paralysis, loss of vision, hearing or speech.
Permanent Partial Disablement
This is a disablement that is not so severe such as loss of a finger
or toe and the compensation will be based on a percentage of the
sum insured.
Temporary Total Disablement
The insured is incapable of fully attend to his work and its compensated
based on the number of weeks of his disability.
Temporary Partial Disablement
Insured is incapable of the specific area of his normal duties and
compensation will be based on the period of partial disability.
Medical Expense
Pays for medical expenses incurred following an accident.
Exclusions
Standard exclusions of this insurance are but not limited to:
Dangerous sports or recreation activities.
Riot & Strike
War and kindred risks
Self-injury, suicide and willful exposure to injury, provoked an assault
Insanity or under the influence of drugs or intoxicating drinks
Pregnancy, childbirth, miscarriage, abortion or pre-existing physical defect
Disease or illness
Armed or military duty
Professional sports
How to Claim
Inform Allied Insurance Company immediately after the incident:
1. Insured should make sure that you take all necessary action to
minimize the losses.
2. In the event of a fire, a collision involving a third party, burglary/theft or
malicious damage claim, you must notify the police as soon as possible
and obtain a police report.
3. Repair works should be carried out with our approval
4. All damaged items should be preserved for inspection
5. Do not admit liability at any point or offer to settle the claim unless you
have obtained the written consent from us
