EAR insurance policy covers insurance against financial losses and material damage due to sudden, unexpected events that can cause total or partial damage to the insured property during erection works.
What can be insured?
Site erection of all kind of:
Individual machines, apparatus and assemblies.
Complete power facilities and production plants where the above-said items are used.
Civil engineering work necessary for the project to be erected
In addition, the cover may include:
Machinery, plant and equipment required for erection.
Property located on the site, belonging to or held in care, custody, or control of the insured.
Expenses incurred for the clearance of debris following a loss.
Additional expenses incurred for overtime, as well as for express freight
The policy offers coverage under two sections:
Section I: Material Damage
The policy covers physical loss, damage or destruction of the property due to any cause other than those specifically excluded in the policy.
Section II: Third-party liability
The policy covers the legal liability falling on to you as a result of bodily injury or property damage to a third party.

The Contractors’ All Risks Insurance Policy provides cover against a wide range of perils. Some of the covered perils are:
Fire, lightning, explosion, aircraft damage
Riot, strike, malicious act
Flood, inundation, storm, cyclone, Landslide, subsidence, and rockslide
Burglary and theft
Short circuiting, arcing, excess voltage
Collapse, damage due to foreign objects, impact damages
Exclusions
This policy does not cover the following:
War and related perils
Nuclear reaction, nuclear radiation, or radioactive contamination
Willful act or willful negligence of the insured
Cessation of work
Defective material or bad workmanship
Wear and tear
Inventory losses
Design
Consequential loss
Any act of Terrorism
How to Claim
Inform Allied Insurance Company immediately after the incident:
1. Should make sure that you take all necessary action to minimize the losses.
2. In the event of a fire, a collision involving a third party, burglary/theft, or malicious damage claim, you must notify the police as soon as possible and obtain a police report.
3. Repair works should be carried out with our approval.
4. All damaged items should be preserved for inspection.
5. Do not admit liability at any point or offer to settle the claim unless you have obtained the written consent from us.
