Allied Insurance Company has taken an additional step in the ongoing effort to improve the services given to customers. The company signed an agreement with and Upper North Health Services Corporation Ltd. to provide the Allied health card services in Hdh. Kulhudhuffushi – Regional Hospital, Ha. Atoll Hospital (Ha. Dhihdhoo) and Sh. Atoll Hospital (Sh. Funadhoo).
The agreement signing ceremony was held at Allied Insurance Companys corporate office on 14th March 2011. General Manager, Mr.Ahmed Ameel signed on behalf of Allied Insurance Company and Mr.Badhurudheen Hassan, Managing Director of the corporation signed on behalf of Upper Northern Health Services Corporation Ltd.
Since the introduction of Health Insurance business in October 2004, the company has achieved great success in the local market. At present, the company provides health insurance services to 29,500 customers from more than 100 local companies.
The company introduced its cashless service on 1st November 2007. Today, Allied customers can get the benefit of cashless service from 5 Clinics, 32 pharmacies, 10 optical outlets, 2 private hospitals and the 02 Government Hospitals in the Maldives.
In addition to this, the company offers cashless services from abroad to its customers. These include 16 medical centres in India, 2 medical centres in Sri Lanka and 6 medical centres in Thailand. The company also has 56 medical centres in India, 10 medical centres in Sri Lanka and 6 medical centres in Thailand authorized to provide medical services under Allied health insurance coverage.
