Allied Insurance Company of the Maldives signed an MoU with Maldives Police Services to instigate a road safety awareness campaign names “Rakka – Drive Safe, Save Lives”

On the 16th of November 2014, at a special ceremony held at Allied Insurance Company of the Maldives, the company signed an MOU with the Maldives Police Services to instigate a road safety awareness campaign to promote safe roads for the people of Male’ City, aiming to minimize the possibilities of accidents by creating community awareness on the negative impact of road accidents. Maldives Police Service and Allied Insurance Company understand the importance of reducing such accidents and public awareness on the efforts by authorities to create a safe social ecosystem for everyone.

The MOU was signed by Mr Niyaz Mohamed, General Manager of Allied Insurance Company and Superintendent of Police Mohamed Dawood, Maldives Police Services.

The event is to be held on the 28th and 29th of November 2014 at Raalhugandu including different activities focused on children as well as youth at appropriate timings, encouraging participation from different age groups of the society.
